Board Member
Prof. Priscilla Kolibea Mante is a Professor of Pharmacology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, specializing in neuropharmacology with a focus on epilepsy and depression. She holds a Ph.D. (Pharmacology) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from KNUST, complemented by certifications in intellectual property management, patent law and mental health.
Prof. Mante's research excellence has earned her numerous recognitions, including the L'Oréal-UNESCO International Rising Talent Award (2019), Quartz Africa Innovator Award (2019), the OWS Early Career Fellowship, and the ECOWAS Research and Innovation Support Programme grant.
She is a founder of Nexus Careers, an initiative supporting career development pathways for scientists across Africa. She also actively promotes science communication, gender equity, and capacity-building through programs such as the Ghana Neuroscience Brain Bee and the Ghana National Girls-in-ICT Initiative, helping to shape the next generation of scientific leaders across the continent.

Dr. Rhoda Julia Ansaa-Asare is a Multiphysics Instrumentation Engineer, specializing in the monitoring of geotechnical properties and environmental conditions in deep geological repositories used for the long-term storage of radioactive waste. Her work plays a critical role in ensuring environmental protection and infrastructure safety over the long term.
In addition to her role in nuclear waste management, Julia is actively involved in research on the valorization of excavated soils and the use of bioresources to produce eco-friendly construction materials. She holds a Research Master's degree in Geomechanics, Civil Engineering, and Risks, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering.
Julia is passionate about mentoring young women in STEM. She actively participates in programs and initiatives aimed at inspiring the girl child to increase the representation of women in science and engineering fields.
